Course overview
Course description
This inspiring and creative course will build upon the skills you have previously gained. You will have the opportunity to plan and develop a personal outcome based on the photographers and styles covered in the previous course. You will be encouraged to reflect on your progress so far, evaluating which of the photographers inspired you the most and why? You will then be encouraged to choose just one Photographer to research and explore in more depth, analysing and responding to their work in your own original way. As the course progresses, you will learn how to refine images towards creating a personal outcome and will discuss your progress with other members of the group and share feedback. Whilst researching, you will be practising how to make a photography journal, printing and writing about the development of your ideas. You will learn how to design pages for the journal, considering aspects such as page layout. This journal will be used in reflection sessions, where you will be invited to consider and share your progress with others. Your photographic Journal will be your final outcome and will be assessed by the tutor at the end of the course.
