Entry Levels 1,2,3: If you have never studied this subject before and you鈥檙e not confident in your skills, Entry levels are a good starting point.
Level 1: Covers basic skills and knowledge needed for this subject
Level 2: Building on basic knowledge or experience. Similar to Grade 4/ C at GCSE or O level in England or Standards in Scotland.
Level 3: Learn about the topic in-depth and have a broad range of skills. Independent working Equivalent to an A level in England or Higher in Scotland.
Beginners: A perfect introduction if you have no experience and skills in this subject.
Improvers: The next step if you have basic skills or knowledge but want to progress them further.
Advanced: Build on the solid experience and skills you have in this subject, applying your skills and knowledge in a more complex way.

What we鈥檒l cover
Learn to plan and write a text using a structure
Understand how to order a short text using paragraphs
Improve your writing style by using conjunctions to create compound sentences
Understand prefixes and suffixes and how word families are built from one root
Understand the difference between adverbs, nouns, and verbs when exploring word families
Learn to identify and correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation mistakes in a text.
This is an ESOL skills for life entry 3 course for adults. You will continue to develop your writing skills.
You need prior writing skills to take this course, that鈥檚 why you鈥檒l do a skills check to enrol. Don鈥檛 worry, this isn鈥檛 an exam. It鈥檚 for us to make sure you get on the right course for you.
Our friendly team will contact you to start your skills check as part of your booking.
When you complete this module, you can continue with other ESOL courses at entry 3 level. Once you finish the reading, writing, and speaking & listening courses, you can progress to level 1 courses.
There are also 鈥淕et Ready鈥 courses between each module to prepare you for the next course.

This entry 3 ESOL writing course takes around 110 hours to complete.
