This is a preparation course for the ESOL entry 1 speaking and listening qualification. It is not an accredited course.
The aim of this programme is to help you start your ESOL classes with the prior knowledge you鈥檒l need.
Get ready for ESOL entry 1 speaking and listening is an English course for adults. You will develop basic verbal communication skills. It鈥檚 aimed at complete beginners so you don鈥檛 need any prior knowledge to sign up.
Before you can enrol on this course, you鈥檒l do a skills check. Don鈥檛 worry, this isn鈥檛 an exam. It鈥檚 for us to make sure you get on the right course for your level. Our friendly team will contact you to start your skills check as part of your booking.
When you complete this introductory course, you will be ready to take the ESOL entry 1 speaking and listening course.

What to expect
This get ready for ESOL course takes around 40 hours to complete. It gives you more opportunities to learn the communication skills required for an entry 1 speaking and listening qualification.
