Entry Levels 1,2,3: If you have never studied this subject before and you鈥檙e not confident in your skills, Entry levels are a good starting point.
Level 1: Covers basic skills and knowledge needed for this subject
Level 2: Building on basic knowledge or experience. Similar to Grade 4/ C at GCSE or O level in England or Standards in Scotland.
Level 3: Learn about the topic in-depth and have a broad range of skills. Independent working Equivalent to an A level in England or Higher in Scotland.
Beginners: A perfect introduction if you have no experience and skills in this subject.
Improvers: The next step if you have basic skills or knowledge but want to progress them further.
Advanced: Build on the solid experience and skills you have in this subject, applying your skills and knowledge in a more complex way.

Course description
What we鈥檒l cover. Make polite requests in familiar and new situations. Give information about yourself using the present, past, and future verb forms. Understand how to give advice in English using should, could, and other expressions. Learn expressions in English to talk about your likes, dislikes, feelings, and opinions. Learn ways to ask others about their opinions and preferences. This is a preparation course for the ESOL entry 3 speaking and listening qualification. It is not an accredited course. You need previous speaking and listening skills to take this course, that鈥檚 why you鈥檒l need to do a skills check to enrol. Don鈥檛 worry, this isn鈥檛 an exam. It鈥檚 for us to make sure you get on the right course for your level. Our friendly team will contact you to start your skills check as part of your booking. When you complete this introductory course, you will be ready to take the ESOL skills for life entry 3 speaking and listening course. There are 鈥済et ready鈥 courses between each module to prepare you for the next course. What to expect This course gives you more opportunities to learn the verbal communication skills required for an entry 3 speaking and listening qualification. Please note that you鈥檒l need an internet connection to study this ESOL course. This is so you can access our digital learning platform, Canvas.
