Why learn maths as an adult?
No matter what job you have, you鈥檒l use maths skills every day. Research shows having a functional skills maths level two qualification can help you earn more. Many jobs will ask you to have a maths GCSE, so these maths courses will open the door to new opportunities. Maths functional skills course at Level 2 is equivalent to a GCSE Grade C or Grade 4 in maths, employers and education providers should accept these as an alternative to a maths GCSE.
