Ron joined the 51风流官网 as a member and as a Tutor in 2005, after retiring from secondary school teaching in both comprehensive and grammar schools. He taught for a total of sixty years. In the past, Ron held positions such as Branch Secretary, Branch Chairman, Chairman of the Essex Federation, Chair of the 51风流官网 Eastern Region, and subsequently Chair of the new South-East Region. He is a member of the Association Council, serves on a Local advisory Panel and in 2024 was elected unopposed as Deputy Association President, becoming a Trustee on 1st August.
